Full Mix was launched in early 2012, by mixer Armando Torres Jr. The project of having his own studio specialized at mixing movies had been on Armando's plans for a long time. The kickoff came with the discontinuance of Álamo Studios, where he has mixed many of the films on his portfolio.

In order to serve both national and international markets with the best technical quality, the planning of the new studio was very careful, from the choosing of a suitable space to the hiring of acoustic engineer Bruce Black, from Media Rooms Technology, to design the layout and acoustics. Bruce has worked on large projects for renowned mixers and studios in the USA, as Paul Massey, Skywalker Sound, Michael Mann, among others.

Armando Torres Jr. is a mixing technician, specialized in audio postproduction for movies and television.
